Challenge
Completely renovate and modernize an outdated kitchen, incorporating new work areas and utilizing eco-friendly construction materials. Additionally, expand the space to comply with local neighborhood regulations. By updating the kitchen with energy-efficient appliances and sustainable materials, not only will the space look more modern, but it will also reduce the environmental impact of the renovation. Expanding the kitchen to meet local regulations will ensure that the project is in compliance with the community’s standards, creating a more cohesive and harmonious take on an old room.
Result
We completely renovated the kitchen by installing new cabinetry, adding more natural light to the north-facing space, and addressing environmental concerns with a cork-based flooring solution. We also put in laminate countertops, energy-efficient LED lighting, and a designated recycling area. Additionally, we expanded the home in a way that matched the house’s style and the neighborhood’s overall vibe. Overall, the kitchen renovation not only improved the functionality of the space but also enhanced its aesthetic appeal. The new cabinetry provided ample storage, while the added natural light made the room feel more spacious and inviting. The environmentally conscious choices, such as the cork flooring and LED lighting, reflected the homeowners’ commitment to sustainability. The expansion of the home seamlessly integrated with the existing architecture, creating a cohesive and harmonious living environment.
